South Dakota School for the Deaf
I am currently working with the SDSD on a number of different episodes for their website. This required me to travel to Sioux Falls, SD and film what past sutdents and alumni of the school had to say. I was trusted with set preperation, filming, lighting, capturing audio, and editing the footage into the final project. I used software such as Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Photoshop to get the desired shots.
Dakota Days Sweatshirt Design
In 2013, Calvin LeBrie and I worked togeather to design a Dakota Days themed sweatshirt to distribute throughout the campus. This required us to create a USD themed image within the universities rules. I expreienced how to communicate to the university through social media in order to get the number of sizes we needed. I also used social media to alert the university of when and where the sweatshirts were being sold.
Volunteer Work Meal Pre and Organization
Volunteering at the St. Francis House organization in 2011 opened my eyes to lower class people's day-to-day lives. By helping prepare meals and keeping their home in good condition, I gained a greater sense of how hard some people have it.
